ErasmusDays 2025 ISEN Ouest

This annual event gave students and staff the opportunity to (re)discover the many benefits of international mobility programs while sharing inspiring experiences from around the world.

Opening Up to the World

The day began with a presentation of the Erasmus+ program and the various mobility opportunities available at ISEN Ouest: study semesters abroad, internships, double degrees, language stays, and international volunteer programs.
This introduction highlighted the central role that international experience plays in the ISEN Ouest engineering curriculum, helping students develop independence, curiosity, and intercultural awareness.

Inspiring Student Testimonials

One of the highlights of the day was the series of testimonials from students returning from study or internship experiences abroad.
What made this year’s edition particularly special was the direct, peer-to-peer format — students speaking to students — which created authentic, lively, and inspiring exchanges.

📍 In Brest

Participants embarked on a virtual journey from South Korea to the Czech Republic through the stories of Mathieu Bina in Asia, Lana Pourchasse returning from UCLA in the United States, and Adeline Bouquin, Ouiam Mansouri, and Enzo Chouteau, who shared their internship experiences in the Czech Republic, Italy, and Germany.
Georgian exchange students currently studying at the Brest campus also shared their impressions, illustrating the richness of cross-cultural exchanges between partner universities.

📍 In Caen

The Caen campus also showcased a wide range of European and international destinations.
Amandine Cornillon and Marine Bony shared their semester abroad at Heriot-Watt University in Scotland, while Jean Bayard and Alexandre Lemoine described their Master 1 internships in Croatia. Victor Ricco and Rakan Aboudagga spoke about their gap year experiences in Australia, highlighting the many different pathways available.
A special mention was given to Emmanuelle Athimon, a staff member who took part in a Staff Week in Ireland — a reminder that international mobility opportunities are open not only to students but also to administrative and academic teams.

Antoine Pajdak shared insights from his internship in Ichinoseki, Japan.
Georgian students from the Georgian American University, also hosted at the Nantes campus, added an extra multicultural dimension to this colorful day of celebration.
