Why choose this program?
The Computer Science and Digital Technologies track is a post-secondary, 3-year program that places a strong emphasis on computer science skills. From the start, students take courses in algorithms, C programming, web development, and networking—subjects that make up nearly half of the curriculum.
This program is accessible to all profiles, even those without a prior background in computer science. It is designed to meet the needs of students who are passionate about technology, whether that stems from a personal interest in video games or a curiosity about emerging fields like cybersecurity.
The track is part of ISEN’s 5-year engineering program and includes a shared core curriculum featuring mathematics, physics, engineering sciences, English, and humanities and social sciences. Alongside these, students receive specialized computer science training, with 80% of their technical instruction focused on programming and application development, and 20% on systems and networks.
This robust foundation prepares students to pursue a wide range of specializations in their 4th and 5th years. Many choose to deepen their expertise in digital technologies by selecting professional fields such as cybersecurity or software development—but all ISEN Ouest specializations remain open to them.
