Corriculum
An embedded systems engineer is able to design and build all the systems found in mobile devices or vehicles. These systems are used in cars, airplanes, boats, trains, rockets, submarines, and autonomous vehicles.
The training is centered on two major areas:
-
Perception systems, including sensors and data acquisition electronics
-
Embedded computing, for signal processing and environmental information extraction
Students also study mathematics (for signal analysis and detection) and systems engineering, which is crucial to ensure that the various components operate together seamlessly.
