Are you passionate about science but still unsure about your professional goals? The General Engineering Track is made for you.

By following a highly scientific curriculum complemented by an introduction to digital technologies, students in the General Track gain both theoretical and practical tools to confidently pursue one of the school’s professional fields.

Why Choose This Program?

The primary goal of the General Engineering Track is to build a strong foundation in core sciences while introducing students to digital technologies. Mathematics, physics, and engineering sciences form the backbone of this program and are essential for engineering studies.

ISEN Ouest enhances this scientific foundation with training in essential digital tools, ensuring students are well-prepared for any of the 15 professional domains offered after the three-year General Track. Teamwork and project-based learning are key components of this program.

Because becoming an engineer means more than mastering technical skills, students also take courses in humanities, economics, and social sciences, as well as foreign languages including English, Spanish, German, Chinese, and Japanese.

At ISEN Ouest, your engineering path is built over five years. The General Engineering Track corresponds to the first three years, after which you can choose—without any ranking-based selection—among 15 professional domains offered across ISEN’s western campuses.

After the General Track, students often pursue fields such as:

  • Robotics – Factory of the Future

  • Energy

  • Embedded Systems

  • Electric Mobility

However, all other professional domains remain open as well.
