Why choose this program?
The Biology and Health track is a 3-year post-secondary program designed for students who have completed a general high school curriculum.
While the coursework primarily focuses on life sciences, this program is inherently interdisciplinary. It offers a generalist engineering foundation through a curriculum that encompasses major scientific fields such as mathematics, physics, life sciences, and digital technologies.
Students will explore how technology and AI are transforming the life sciences—from medical imaging and bio-nanotechnology revolutionizing diagnostics and treatments, to connected devices and embedded systems enabling artificial hearts and cochlear implants.

A 3+2 Pathway
After completing the Biology and Health track, you can move on to one of ISEN Ouest’s professional domains related to your training, such as:
-
Medical and Health Technologies
 -
Digital Agriculture
 -
Sustainable Development and Digital Environment

However, all 15 professional domains offered at ISEN Ouest remain accessible, regardless of the initial track chosen.
At ISEN Ouest, you build your 5-year engineering journey step by step. The Biology and Health track represents the first three years of this path, followed by access—without any ranking criteria—to the professional domains available across our campuses in Western France.
