Clubs and associations give ISEN Ouest students the opportunity to get involved in projects that reflect their interests, whether in technology, sports, gaming, international activities, entrepreneurship, culture or events. Active across the different campuses, they contribute to a vibrant student experience, encourage connections between students from different year groups and provide valuable hands-on experience in project management.

ISEN Aéro Space – Nantes

ISEN Aéro Space brings together students with a passion for aerospace to work on experimental rocket projects. From design to embedded electronics, the club gives students the opportunity to apply their engineering skills to a practical and ambitious project.
Students notably take part in C’Space, a leading event dedicated to student rocket launches.
La Guilde – Brest
La Guilde, the gaming club on the Brest campus, organizes gaming sessions, themed evenings, introductions to role-playing games, murder mystery parties and chess competitions.
The club also takes part in local events such as Rencontres Ludiques de Bretagne and Breizh Ty Geek. Active gaming clubs can also be found on the Nantes and Caen campuses.
Sports Association – Caen
The Bureau des Sports (BDS), or Sports Association, is active across ISEN Ouest campuses, organizing sports activities and helping strengthen connections between students.
The Caen BDS is particularly active, with students taking part in half-marathons, sports outings, Olympic-themed weekends and activities such as paintball.
Hult Prize ISEN (Brest)
Hult Prize ISEN is a club dedicated to student entrepreneurship and impact-driven innovation. It embraces the spirit of the Hult Prize, an international student social entrepreneurship competition.
The club provides a space to explore practical solutions, develop responsible ideas and support students who want to embark on their own entrepreneurial journey.
Club International — Caen
The International Club brings together French and international students on the Caen campus. It organizes themed meals, cultural outings and opportunities to discover and discuss cultures from around the world.
It helps international students integrate into campus life while promoting cultural awareness throughout the campus community.
Modelec – Nantes
Modelec is the robotics club on the Nantes campus. Each year, students design and improve robots to compete in the Coupe de France de Robotique.
The club brings together skills in mechanics, electronics, programming and project management in a practical, collaborative environment.
Different clubs on each campus
Student clubs and associations at ISEN Ouest vary from one campus to another, depending on the student cohorts and the projects they develop. Some clubs are active across several campuses, such as sports associations and gaming clubs. Others are closely linked to the history of a particular campus, a group of students or a specific area of interest.
Students can join an existing club, contribute to an ongoing project or launch a new initiative with a motivated team.
On the Paris and Rennes campuses, student life is mainly organized around the Student Union (BDE). Throughout the year, the team brings campus life to life by organizing opportunities to meet, community-building events and social activities for students.
On a close-knit campus, everyone can easily get involved in student initiatives, whether by helping organize an event, suggesting an activity, welcoming new students or simply contributing to the campus atmosphere. This approach allows students to get involved from the outset and shape their campus experience together.

Student life is constantly evolving, and every year new projects can emerge based on students’ interests, passions and ideas.
Students can join an existing club, help organize an event, suggest an activity or contribute to a project on an occasional basis. And if there is no club that matches their interests, they can also propose creating a new one by bringing together a team of students who are ready to get involved.
