Why choose this program?
The Digital Technologies track is a three-year post-high school program with a strong focus on computer science skills. From the beginning of the program, students take courses in algorithms, C programming, web development and computer networks, which account for nearly half of their curriculum. Open to students from all academic backgrounds, including those with no prior experience in computer science, this program is designed for students passionate about new technologies, whether their interests lie in video games or emerging fields such as cybersecurity.
The Digital Technologies track is an integral part of the ISEN Ouest engineering program. Students follow a common core curriculum covering mathematics, physics, engineering sciences, English, and humanities and social sciences. Alongside these subjects, they benefit from advanced computer science training, with 80% of their computing courses dedicated to programming and application development, and 20% focused on systems and networks.
This strong foundation opens up a wide range of opportunities in Years 4 and 5. Students can choose to further develop their expertise in digital technologies by specializing in professional fields such as Cybersecurity or Software Development. They also have the freedom to choose from any of the other professional fields offered at ISEN Ouest.
